Sophomore Madison Palmer continues to inch towards the Alfred University school record in the shot put as she finished third in the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Saturday in the event. The school record is 11.95m, set by Karen Savage ’76 and Palmer broke another career-best performance with her toss of 11.85m. She also competed in the weight throw on Saturday in which she three 12.30m to earn 15^th place.
