Junior Julia Fanning had a strong weekend despite a pair of Saxon losses. She led the Saxons in set assists with 62 on the weekend in two matches including a career-high 39 assists against St. John Fisher College in which they went to five sets against the No. 1 team in the Empire 8. She neared double-doubles in both matches as she had 23 assists and nine digs against Nazareth and had eight digs against Fisher. Fanning had 5.5 points against the Cardinals in which she had a career-high four aces and tacked on a kill and a block assist.
