Senior Tori Pellegrino was undefeated on the week, going 4-0 in the Saxons’ 2-0 Empire 8 week. Pellegrino played at No. 1 in both singles and doubles. She first helped the Saxons win their first match of the year with an 8-1 win on the road at Hartwick. She defeated Victoria Wilson, 6-3, 6-4 and teamed with Amber Smith for an 8-4 doubles win over Wilson and Skylar Watts. Pellegrino then earned the match-clinching point at home against Utica College with a 6-0, 6-0 singles win over Madeline McIlnay. Her and Smith teamed up earlier for an 8-5 win over McIlnay and Morgan Willis as well.
