First-year Tatie Mejia had a great batting week in where the Saxons went 3-3 including #3 regionally-ranked and receiving national votes, SUNY Geneseo. Mejia went 3-for-8 against Geneseo with three hits, four RBI’s, one double and her first collegiate homerun in the doubleheader losses to the Knights. She totaled three doubles on the week with one against Geneseo and one in each of the games against Empire 8 foe, Sage Colleges. She was 9-for-20 (.450 batting average) on the week. Mejia totaled six RBI’s with three doubles, one homerun and crossed the plate herself six times. On her 14 chances in the field, she recorded nine assists and one putout.
