First-year Michael Villafane helped the Saxons secure the No. 2 seed in the Empire 8 Playoffs with a win over visiting St. John Fisher College on Satuday. He scored his first collegiate game-winning goal in double-overtime off a lobbed pass from Zachary Gloskin. He and the rest of the defense also held Fisher to only seven shots on the day with only three on goal while playing the ball up for the Saxons to rip 18 shots with five on goal.
