Senior Nick Schmidt had a big second half against St. John Fisher College on Saturday. The Saxons came back from a 12-point second half deficit to top the Cardinals (first time since 2013-14 season that the Saxons beat Fisher on the road), 86-81. Schmidt scored all 17 of his points in the second half as he was a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line and drained 3-of-5 from 3-point land. Overall for the game, Schmidt finished with four assists and one offensive rebound. Against Nazareth on Friday, Schmidt had nine points, six rebounds and three assists along with one steal. He was also perfect from the free throw line on Friday, going 4-for-4.
