Sophomore Chase Swetland led the Saxons on Saturday during the Westminster (PA) Invitational. He was the highest individual finisher when he took fourth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.75. He then teamed with Erik Diehl, Jordan Schools and Seth Spicer in the 4x400-meter relay for a fifth place time of 3:29.31 while also joining Spicer, Matthew Derse and Jaggar Chaisty for a seventh place finish in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 46.72. Swetland helped earn 11 of the Saxons’ 21 team points as they finished eighth out of the 15 teams competing.
