Senior Liz Thompson went 7-for-15 on the week and her and the Saxons went 3-1 in Empire 8 play. They swept Elmira College and split with #22 nationally-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology. Thompson also broke and tied a school record on the week. She stole five bases in the first game against Elmira on Sunday to capture the school record. The five also gave her 53 in her career to tie previous teammate Alyson Hampton ’15 for the school record. Thompson finished the week with eight runs, four RBIs, one double, one home run, nine fielding assists and four putouts.
