Senior Jeffrey Nunez earned All-Empire 8 Athletic Conference First Team as he won the men’s weight throw on Saturday during the Empire 8 Indoor Track and Field Championships at Utica College. Nunez claimed the victory with a toss of 15.70 meters, besting Larry Cass III from Ithaca by 0.30 meters and earning 10 of the Saxons’ 36 team points as they went on to finished fifth out of the seven teams.
