Senior captain Tyler Seelman averaged 24.6 points on a three-game week with a season-high of 32 points in the Saxons’ Empire 8 win over Ithaca College. Seelman’s score led both teams in the contest while his 22 points against Nazareth College and 20 points against St. John Fisher College were also the game-highs. He also tied his career-high in assists with six against Nazareth on Friday evening in Alfred. The senior was perfect from the free throw line last week, making 15-of-15 with a career-tying mark of 8-of-8 against Fisher. Seelman shot 73.3% from the floor against Ithaca College, hitting 11-of-15 while making seven 3-pointers. He then his half of his shots both from beyond the arc and inside of it against Nazareth. Seelman added 12 rebounds, one block and two steals on the week.
