Senior Faith Lanfear earned Alfred University women’s swimming and diving’s lone win on Saturday against William Smith College. She placed first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:48.63. She was less than 11 seconds away from winning the 1,000-yard freestyle but finished second with an 11:53.33. Lanfear also teamed with Caroline Burgos, Jordan Little and Ally Mitchell to finish second in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:54.61, Lanfear leading off with a team-best split of 28.16.
