Tyler Johnson played a key role in keeping the Saxons’ undefeated streak going with a 35-21 win on the road at Utica College, upping the record to 9-0 and 7-0 in Empire 8 play. Johnson rushed for four touchdowns and threw for one more as he totaled 264 offensive yard (140 passing and 124 rushing) as he broke the school record for most rushing touchdowns in a season (18) and tied for career (40). Johnson’s 12-yard run in the third quarter was the technical game-winner, giving the Saxons the 28-14 lead going into the fourth.
