Alfred University Athletics

ALFRED, NY—Senior Sean Locker (Corning, NY/Corning-Painted Post West) has been named the Alfred University Male Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational.
 
Locker is being honored for winning the javelin competition with a throw of 54.65 meters, topping his closest opponent by more than two meters.  The Saxons finished 11^th in the competition, scoring 24 points.
 
Locker and the Saxons return to action Wed. April 8, when they travel to Houghton College for a tri-meet against Alfred State and the Highlanders.
