Mo Perez joined the Alfred University football coaching staff prior to the 2025 season. Perez transitioned to quarterbacks and wide receivers caoch in 2026 after serving as the team’s defensive backs coach in 2025. In his first season at Alfred University, Perez coached an Empire 8 Third Team All-Conference selection in Jack Bestpitch while contributing to the development of the Saxons’ secondary.

Prior to Alfred, Perez gained experience across multiple roles at Stuart W. Cramer High School (2020–21, 2023–24), coaching defensive line, linebackers, defensive backs, and running backs, and serving as junior varsity defensive coordinator in 2023. In 2022, he served as varsity offensive coordinator at Bessemer City High School, leading a record-setting unit that produced five all-conference selections.

Perez graduated from AU in 2016 with his bachelor's degree in accounting, and again in 2017 with his master's degree in business administration (accounting concentration). Perez played for the Alfred University football team from 2013-14 as a tight end and linebacker.
