Cassandra Black officially joined the Alfred University Athletics department in June of 2021.

Black splits time between the Athletics department and the Athletic Training department, where she has worked since October of 2019. Before coming to Alfred, Black served as a paralegal and legal secretary for 17 years, working in the law offices of Shults & Shults in Hornell, as well as the Andrew Cornell and Keith Slep law offices, both in Wellsville.

A Wellsville native, Black earned her associates degree in paralegal work at the Olean Business Institute.
