Jocelyn Acor joined the Alfred University women's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2026 season.

Prior to Alfred University, Acor was a four-sport standout athlete at Hornell High School, competing in soccer, basketball, track & field and softball. As a former team captain and four-year letter winner with the women's soccer team, Acor was named to the All-State Third Team in 2013 following a program-high 35 goals. Acor was additionally honored as a two-time All-Greater Rochester Team selection and one-time Livingston County First Team All-Star. Across her high school career, Acor registered 82 career goals. As a team, Hornell won three sectional titles and appeared in the semifinals once. By the end of her high school career, Acor the recipient of the Debbie Vanscoter Award as the top female athlete at Hornell High School. In 2020, Acor was selected to the Section V Girls Soccer All-Decade Team (2010-19). 

Following her time with Hornell High School, Acor attended Division I Binghamton University. As a four-year member of the women's soccer team, appeared in 16 games and scored five goals. Acor later returned to Hornell and began her soccer coaching career with elementary girls, later transitioning into modified competition for Hornell Junior High School. In 2024, Acor was named to the Hornell High School Hall of Fame.
