Krystina Gauer joined the Alfred University women's lacrosse coaching staff prior to the 2023 season. A native of Springwater, NY, Gauer joins the staff following a successful playing career with the Saxons. 
 
During her time at Alfred University, Gauer spent three seasons with the women's lacrosse team as a midfielder. Gauer served as a team captain in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Off the field, Gauer was a six-time Saxon Scholar Athlete and Dean's List member, while being recognized on the President's List on five occasions. Gauer graduated in May of 2021 with her Bachelor's in Communication Studies. The following spring, Gauer graduated with her Master's in Business Administration. 
 

Before her time at Alfred University, Gauer attended Monroe Community College from 2018-19.
