Karli Brinthaupt joined the Alfred University women’s lacrosse program as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2016.
Brinthaupt comes from Fredonia where she earned her BA in psychology in 2012. She was a four-year player on the Blue Devils’ women’s lacrosse team where she started every game she played in 2011 and 2012 as an attacker. Brinthaupt ranks in the Top-5 statistical category leaders in shots, goals and points from 2011 to 2012.
Brinthaupt helped Fredonia earn its first berth into the NCAA Division III tournament in 2012 as well as earning its first national ranking votes in the IWLCA polls that same year. She ended her career with 84 points.
Brinthaupt graduated from Horseheads High School in Horseheads, NY in 2008 where she was a four-year member of the girls lacrosse team as well as a senior team captain, earning the team’s MVP award. During her freshman year, she was pulled up to varsity to play in the section finals.
Brinthaupt has worked as a YWCA of Elmira and the Twin Tiers Kids World Program site supervisor, summer coordinator and program assistant since 2012.
She is attending Alfred University to earn her masters in school counseling.
