2014: Made 19 pitching appearances (12 starts) and went 7-2 with a team-low 2.33 ERA…Struck out 52 and walked just 18…Had three shutouts among her seven wins and turned in a team-high three saves… Named a Second Team Empire 8 all-star.

2013: Made 12 pitching appearances (eight starts) and went 4-5 with a 4.87 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 50 1/3 innings...Pitched three complete games with one shutout...Earned the victory, with a one-hit five-iining shutout of Penn College, in the first-ever game played at Doris Harrington Field on April 14, 2013.
 
Before AU: Played for coach Erica Hanrahan at Elmwood Park (IL) High School, where she was a four-year starter, earning all-conference honors in 2011 and Rookie of the Year honors in 2008.
 
Personal: The daughter of Jan and Susan Jakobsen, Katelyn is a psychology major.
