Sarah Ramirez joined the Alfred University softball staff in the Fall 2022 semester.

Ramirez comes to Alfred University after stints at three different institutions, most recently, Austin College. She began at West Hills College Coalinga before transferring to Orange Coast College, earning her associates in liberal arts in 2019. She then earned her BA in psychology with a minor in exercise & sports studies from Austin College in 2021. While at AC, Ramirez was named to the All-Conference Second Team in 2021. She earned multiple Dean's List placings for her academic success as well as the Phyllis Roberts Endowed Scholarship in 2017.

Originally from Anaheim, CA, Ramirez competing in track & field and then softball for the Aztecs of Esperanza High School. She was the shot put and discus champion in both of her freshman and sophomore years.
