Jordan Nichols was announced as the first assistant coach for the Alfred University field hockey team in 2025. 

She comes to AU from Empire 8 opponent Keuka College. Nichols was a three-year starter as goalie for the Wolves. She ranked in the top three in the E8 in total saves each of those years. During her senior season in 2024, Nichols was tied for first in the league and ranked sixth in all of Division III with 170 stops. She was selected to the All-Empire 8 Third Team at the end of the season.

In addition to field hockey, Nichols also played first base for the softball team for two seasons.

A native of Deposit, NY, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Adolescent English Education from Keuka College. Nichols is currently working on her Master's Degree in Literacy at her alma mater.
