Morton is the first Assistant Coach in AU Cheerleading history, stepping in during the founding season of the program. Morton is coming off a four-year career as a member of the AU Cheerleading Club where she served as the President, Vice President and Treasurer over the course of her tenure. She graduated from AU with a degree in finance while double-minoring in accounting and psychology. She is currently a member of the AU Masters of Business Administration program.Â
Morton is a native of Lockport, NY where she was a member of the Lions' Cheerleading Squad all four years. In addition to her cheering success, Morton was also a four-year Scholar-Athlete and member of the National Honor Society.Â
