Lauren Partridge was appointed head men’s and women’s Alpine ski coach at Alfred University prior to the 2014-15 academic year.
Partridge is the most decorated women’s Alpine skier ever at AU, three times earning All-American recognition from the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA). She earned Second Team All-American recognition in three different seasons, and three different racing categories, from 2007-09: in the slalom in 2007, in the giant slalom in 2008, and combined in 2009. She also earned national academic honors from the USCSA three years (2007-09).
Her previous coaching experience includes serving as U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) ski racing coach at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY, from 2010-11 to 2012-13 and at Swain Ski Resort in Swain, NY, in 2013-14.
Partridge earned a bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Alfred University in 2010 and a master’s degree in ceramic engineering from AU in 2013. A resident of Arkport, NY, she is a process engineer at Corning, Inc., in Erwin, NY.
