Before AU: Swam for Coach Maynard and the Crusaders of Canisius High School in Buffalo, NY...also swam for the Grand Island Swim Club...helped his team win Mosignor Martin All-Catholics all four years in high school...saw his team's 200-yard freestyle relay team win a state title in his junior year...took second place in the 100-yard breaststroke his sophomore and senior year in the Mosignor Martin All-Catholics Championships...was part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that won during the Mosignor Martin All-Catholics Championships his junior year...earned First Honors in his sophomore, junior and senior years...earned Second Honors his ninth grade year...member of the National Honors Society.
