Before AU: Swam for Coaches Entrikin and Baker and the Rams of Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, NJ...earned Most Improved during the 2011-12 season...was the Best Distance Swimmer in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons...earned the Jackie Behr Team Spirit Award in her senior season.

Personal: Parents are Chris and Diane Burgos...dual majors in global studies as well as political science with two minors in marketing and cultural anthropology.
