HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC -- The Alfred University women's tennis played an added-on match to Dickinson College where they would fall 6-1.
"Jumping into a match last minute against a very strong team, they fought hard and supported one another on every point," Head Coach
Jake Fisler said. "This was the finisher for the spring season and I am excited about the fall knowing the work they have to put in, and the work they will put in."
Becca Epping (Mitchell, IN/Bedford North Lawrence) led the way on the court for the Saxons. Playing in only a single set to eight, she would get there first in an 8-2 final.
Claire Lander (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) also competed hard in her singles match. She won six points in her single set-match.
Allison Windisch (Pittsford, NY/Sutherland) took home three points in her own set match as well.
This three-match stretch in South Carolina for spring break concluded women's tennis action for the 2024-25 season. They'll set their sights on August play.
