ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University field hockey team fell to Houghton University in Empire8 action on Wednesday evening, 7-0.
 
Molly Howlett (Brockport, NY/Brockport) made 21 saves in goal while facing a total of 47 shots. Brockport played off of 23 penalty corner awards while the Saxons had one opportunity for the day.
 
The Saxons will next host Hartwick College on Saturday, October 25 at 4:30pm and they will honor their lone senior, Izzy Santella (Middleport, NY/Royalton Hartland) during pregame Senior Day celebrations.
