Wells drove home
Darby McEnery (Corona, CA/Norco) in the fifth, making it a 4-0 lead. The Saxons further separated the scoring deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning, starting when

The Saxon defense faced a bases-loaded situation in the top of the seventh with one out. The game ended when a line drive was caught by Wescott at first base, who then dove back to first base for the solo double-play.
