ROCHESTER, NY - An early goal for Nazareth College led to a 1-0 win over the Alfred University women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon from Golden Flyer Stadium.
The Saxons (6-6-5, 3-2-4 Empire 8) defense faced 20 shots from the Golden Flyers (6-4-7, 5-1-3 Empire 8), 11 of which were on goal.
Olivia Gilbert (Ontario, NY/Wayne Central) finished with one shot on goal across a full 90 minutes of action.
