Amber Smith (Prattsburgh, NY/Prattsburgh) and first-year
Talulla Torthe (Pretoria, South Africa/St. Mary's Diocesan-South Africa) went undefeated on the day.

The Saxons jumped out on top in doubles play when Smith and Torthe took #3 doubles 8-5 to open the match. However, the Wildcats bounced back and took the lead 2-1 after doubles play.

Smith knotted the match up again, 2-2, at the start of singles play, winning her match with ease, 6-0, 6-0. Daemen went on a three-match win-streak to seal the win before Torthe won at #6 singles 6-3, 6-2. The Wildcats won the last match of the day, taking the win 6-3.
