Alfred University women’s soccer falls in E8 play at Nazareth, 4-0

PITTSFORD, NY – Host Nazareth defeated the Alfred University women's soccer team, 4-0, Tuesday evening in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
 
Junior Sammy Jo Shanahan (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) took the loss in goal for the Saxons, making one save. With the defeat, AU falls to 7-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in Empire 8 play.
 
AU is in action this weekend in a pair of Empire 8 contests: Saturday (Oct. 8) at noon at Ithaca; and Sunday (Oct. 9) at noon against visiting Stevens.
