ALFRED, NY—Freshman goalie, Shannon Gray (Rochester, NY/Churchville Chili) made 20 saves in a 16-2 loss to Stevens at home Saturday afternoon at Yunevich Stadium in Alfred, NY.
 
Senior Kaitlyn Button (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) scored the two goals for Alfred University in the contest.  One goal came on an assist from sophomore Rachel Ball (Corfu, NY/Pembroke) in the first half. Stevens was led by Kathleen Kalbian and Cami Santor with three goals, each.
 
Gray led the Saxons with three groundballs while sophomore Dana Ganley (Syracuse, NY/Westhill), freshman Miranda Gilbert (Watertown, NY/Watertown), and Button had two groundballs each.  Ball also collected one groundball. 
 
The Saxons (2-9, E8 0-6) hit the road next when they travel to Rochester, NY to take on the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College Wed. April 22, at 4PM.
