Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center at Maris Cuneo Equine Park

Thanks to the generosity of Alfred University Trustee Rob Daggett, a 1981 alumnus of AU, and Catherine Bromeley Daggett, a 1958 graduate of the University, AU has a new, state-of-the-art equestrian facility that opened in August 2005.

The spacious new facility is located within a five-minute drive of campus on the Maris Cuneo Equine Park. It has offices, classrooms, viewing areas, a 200x80-foot indoor arena and two outdoor arenas, one 200x120-feet and the other 100x100 feet. The 50 stalls accommodate both University-owned school horses and horses belonging to University students who want to board their own horses.

The University owns nearly 400 acres on Lake Road, so we have acres of turnout fields. Horseback trails will wind through the woods and around Foster Lake, which is also owned by the University.
