Ray Snyder came to Alfred University as the men's and women's swimming and diving graduate assistant at the beginning of the 2017-18 season.
Snyder earned his bachelor's in exercise science with a concentration in human performance from NCAA Division II member, Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT. While at South Conn., he was a four-year member of the men's swimming and diving team where he captained the Owls as well. He holds school records in two relays and was a Northeast-10 Conference Champion on multiple occasions.
Snyder is attending Alfred University to earn his master's in College Student Development.
A native of Waterbury, CT, Snyder graduated from Sacred Heart High School in his hometown.
