ALFRED, NY—Sophomore Mary Baughman (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) has been named the AU Female Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Houghton College Invitational this past weekend.
 
Baughman took first in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 10:28.80 eclipsing her second place opponent by nearly 30 seconds. 
 
The Alfred University Saxons women’s indoor track team, along with Baughman, will return to action Sat. February 14th when they travel to Houghton College again for the Empire 8 Conference indoor championships.
