ALFRED, NY—Sophomore Mary Baughman (Henrietta, NY/Rush-Henrietta) has been named the AU Female Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Houghton College Invitational this past weekend.
 
Baughman took first in the 3,000 meter run with a time of 10:28.80 eclipsing her second place opponent by nearly 30 seconds. 
 
The Alfred University Saxons women’s indoor track team, along with Baughman, will return to action Sat. February 14^th when they travel to Houghton College again for the Empire 8 Conference indoor championships.
