Baitey scored the only points for the Saxons over the weekend at the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships at Ursinus College. He made the podium and earned All-Atlantic Regional Honors with his sixth place finish in the triple jump. On his last attempt in the opening round of jumps, he reached 14.16m (46’-5.5”) to qualify for finals. He went from eighth place to sixth on his final attempt, reaching 14.31m (46’-11.5”). Baitey also competed in the long jump and finished 23rd with an opening jump of 6.54m (21’-5.5”). Baitey’s three points helped AU finished tied with Franklin & Marshall and Grove City for 41st place as a team, out of the 64 teams competing.
