Smit helped the Saxons claim the High Point Team Title on Saturday as they hosted the 2026 Area 25 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Regional Championships on Saturday. Not only was she Saturday’s High Point Rider, but she was the overall High Point Rider for Area 25 throughout the season. On Saturday, she was the Champion in both Open Reining and Open Horsemanship.
