Hunter was a standout for the Saxons during the Susquehanna University Friday Night Showdown. He began his evening by qualifying for the finals in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.08. That time placed him at seventh in the seeding for the finals, where he duplicated his time and finishing standing. Hunter’s top performance came in the 200-meter dash as he nearly broke a personal record. He ran a 22.69, just 0.02 away from breaking his personal best time of 22.68. His time was good enough for second place on the evening, behind Juniata’s Colson Lewis and his time of 22.57.
