Chest averaged 16.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game in AU’s three games this week. She shot 16-of-40 from the field, 10-of-20 at the 3-point line and 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Chest led the Saxons with a double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds during the home opening win against Buffalo State on Tuesday. She played an integral part in AU’s path to win the Crossbar Alfred Classic. Chest was named the Most Valuable Player of the classic after averaging 15.5 points and 5.5 rebounds. From the field, she shot 10-of-28 overall with 6-of-15 from beyond the arc. Chest tallied her first 20-point performance of the season on 6-of-13 from the field and 4-of-9 at the 3-point line in victory against Bard College on Friday. She ended the weekend with 11 points on 4-of-15 in shooting during the championship against Thiel College on Saturday.
