Matson tallied 13 points on nine goals and four assists in Alfred University’s recent two games. He was the leading-scorer for the Saxons in each contest. Matson registered five points on three goals and two assists while picking up three ground balls in the loss at Nazareth on Wednesday. He later followed with a season-high eight points on a season-high six goals and two assists along with four ground balls during the Saxons’ Senior Day victory against Utica University on Saturday. Matson tallied four goals during Alfred University’s 10-0 run in the second half to achieve the win. He also registered his 200^th career point after assisting Nick Volpe on the goal at the 8:42 mark of the fourth period.
