ALFRED, NY-- Women's tennis player Kallie Clapper (Conklin, NY/Susquehanna Valley) has earned the Alfred University Female Athlete of the Week.

Clapper won AU's lone single's match at the New York State Championships held at Ithaca College this past weekend.  Over the course of the season Clapper is 5-5 in singles play.  

Clapper and the Saxons are in action again October 18th when they travel to Stevens for the Empire 8 Tennis Championships where they are the fourth seed.
