Malone spearheaded a 3-2 week for the Saxons as they picked up wins over Pitt-Bradford, SUNY Oneonta and Centenary (New Jersey) with 3-0 wins over Pitt and Centenary while defeating Oneonta in four sets. She totaled 50.5 points in 14 sets (out of 16 sets played this week) with 44 kills, seven aces and three block assists. Malone had back-to-back matches of double-digit scoring as she had 12.5 against the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford and 16.0 against the Red Dragons of Oneonta. She completed a double-double against the Dragons as well, adding 16 digs. Malone had at least one ace in each match except Centenary, where she played only the first set. Malone was named a Saxon of the Week for her efforts.
