Matson enjoyed a pair of standout offensive performances with the Alfred University men's lacrosse team, who competed against St. John Fisher University and Keuka College this past week. Against the Cardinals, Matson led the Saxons with a team-high five goals across 12 shots, eight of which were on goal. During a dominant 26-5 win against the Wolves, Matson led all players with nine points from seven goals and a pair of assists. Matson finished the game with 16 shots, 11 of which were on goal. He was additionally credited with a caused turnover. Overall, Matson finished the week with 12 goals and two assists.
