Alyssa Smith scored the game-winning goal on Saturday to upset the No. 1 seed Nazareth College. The goal opened up the second half in the 47^th minute of regulation as Jacey Palmgreen placed a corner kick right in front of the net for Smith to head to the back left corner. Smith also helped the Saxons in the middle of the field, winning the majority of the 50/50 balls. Her game-winning goal helped AU secure the No. 2 seed in the Empire 8 Tournament.
