Sophomore Lyndsey McCoy tied a season-high with four made 3-pointers as she led the Saxons in their Empire 8 Conference win over Houghton College on Saturday in the Terry S. Galanis Family Arena. McCoy held game-highs with 18 points and the four 3-pointers. She was 6-for-11 on the day while only taking two minutes rest on the bench. Out of her buckets from beyond the arc, McCoy had not one, but two that were closer to the half court line than the 3-point standard. It was her ninth game with double-digit scoring figures. McCoy also added two assists on the day.
