First year jumper, Danielle Perry, competed in her first collegiate outdoor track and field meet at California University of Pennsylvania on Saturday. In the meet, she finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 10.70m (35’-1.25”). The distance broke the school record of 10.57m (34’-8.25”) set by Corine Pettit in 2013. Perry also led the Saxon jumpers in the long jump with a distance of 4.76m (15’-7.5”). That distance is .02m from besting her indoor personal best in the event.
