ALFRED, NY-Junior Gabrielle Covert (Perry, NY/Perry) has been named the Alfred University Female Athlete of the Week following her performance last week.

Covert qualified for Hunt Seat Equestrian Nationals after already advancing to the Western Seat Nationals following a 4th place finish in advanced horsemanship in March.

Hunt Seat National Championships will be held in Lexington, KY on May 5 through May 8.
