Sophomore A.J. Licata (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) has been named the Alfred University Male Athlete of the Week following his stellar performance against SUNY Brockport on Saturday.
 
The young linebacker paced the Saxons on defense with 16 tackles (8 solo, 8 assisted), one sack and an interception with 3:47 left on the clock to seal the game for AU. During the 2015 season he is second on the team with 73 tackles (40 solo, 33 assisted) while adding 3.5 sacks, one interception and a forced fumble.
 
Licata and the Saxons head into their final home game of the season on Saturday against Empire 8 foe Utica College at 1PM.
