Sammy Jo Shanahan earned her second shutout of the season and her first in Empire 8 action when her and the Saxons took the 8-2-1 overall record-owning Hartwick College to a 0-0 tie. It was Shanahan's second tie of the season, bringing her record to 1-11-2. She faced 20 shots on Sunday against the Hawks with seven being on goal and being stopped by the sophomore keeper. She added another 18 saves between the Saxons' matches with Nazareth and Utica Colleges.
